Holcim increases stake in Ambuja by 3.15 %

Swiss Cement major Holcim has raised its stake in Ambuja Cements Ltd by another 3.15 per cent through a block deal of Rs. 726.29 crores on the Bombay Stock Exchange. The company purchased about 4.9 crores of equity at a price of around Rs.148.83 from Notz Stucki ETCIE S AC Aruna Fund and Master Trust Bank of Japan Ltd. The former sold around 99,79,012 shares and later around 80,00,000. The deal increased Holcim’s stake in Ambuja Cement to about 39 percent.
