Grandhi Mallikarjuna Rao

He started his journey with just one jute mill in 1970 but has transformed his business in the last three decades to form an infrastructure conglomerate besides running significant operations in ferro alloys and sugar.
His company has own the bid for Greenfield airport in Hyderabad and privatization mandate for New Delhi Airport.
His entry into infrastructure was by an accident. He was all set to invest in a brewery in Andhra Pradesh but on last minute tip off from the then chief minister of state of Andhra Pradesh , Chandrababu Naidu , he invested in power sector.He was appointed as director of Vysya bank in 1985 when he learnt lessons on project management and finance
